Mr Chua told us that our class is slow by 1 lesson behind 2 Thinking.Then he go through the worksheet about the Merchant Of Venice.Halfway through,Mr Chua stopped and asked us to submit the paper as he said that it was an assignment and he shouldn't be giving us answers.He asked us to reflect on Shylock's punishment.I think that it's okay for Shylock to be punished since he had nearly done something that could cost a life.But I think asking Shylock to change from a Jewish to a Christian was a little too much because everyone have their own right to choose which religion they want to follow.People can't just force someone to change their religion as a punishment.The person that forces someone to change their religion should be punished instead.Mr Chua then gave us a article about Pastor Rony Tan apologizing for demonizing,ridiculing and slandering Buddhism.When I first saw the article about him,I was a little angry as I know that insulting a religion is a wrong thing to do.I feel that he should be severely punished for what he did.Luckily,he got the guts to apologize for his mistake.“I have received a number of emails from people who have been saddened and hurt by the testimonies of an ex-monk and an ex-nun. I realized that my presentation and comments were wrong and offensive. So I sincerely apologize for my insensitivity towards the Buddhists and Taoists, and solemnly promise that it will never happen again.When we have received those emails, we immediately removed the video clips from our website. I urge those who have posted those clips on the YouTube to remove them as well.
After reading the frank views from those emails, I was also prompted to tell my members not only to continue to love souls, but also to respect other belief and not to ridicule them in any way, shape or fashion.

In my opinion,Pastor Rony Tan made the same decision like Lincoln to be honest.I feel that lying is not a good thing.It is because if a person keeps on lying,he would soon become a person who will never tell the truth for his whole life and he will be corrupted.THE END!
