Term 1 week 6 learning log
So the usual Mr Chua came stepped into the class and he was pleased that the class were sitting down and none of my classmates walked around the classroom.Then we were given a worksheet about The Merchant Of Venice.Mr Chua then asked us whether Shylock is a villian or hero.I think that Shylock is a hero as he was not wrong.Antonio did agree to pay Shylock one pound of flesh if Antonio did not manage to pay the money back on time and Shylock was just doing his job and keeping his promise.Then,Mr Chua gave us another worksheet.It was abouit a scence where Antonio and Shylock was having an arguement.I finally understand why Shylock was so eager in getting his one pound of flesh as Antonio kept insulting him before he borrowed the money from Shylock.Mr Chua then asked those who failed the learning log to stay back and unluckily,I was one of them.But luckily,I was able to go just after one try.I feel that there's not a real villian in this world as each people have their own way of thinking.Like the church incident in Malaysia,I think none of the people are wrong as there must be some religion misunderstanding or people just failed to say what they wanted to say with words alone and chose to settle it with violence,anger,hatred and agony.Since Friday there's no lesson,I guess this is it.
