Term 1 Week 10 Learning log.
Mon

Ms Maly Discussed the rest of the sonnet with the class.Then she started scolding us as we were very noisy.After wasting about 5mins,we continued with part 2 of the sonnet.But in the end,We didn't really learnt much about it.Then,Ms Maly said that she will continue it on friday.I feel that today's lesson was a little terrible as not only did most of us not listen to the lesson,Ms Maly also wasted a lot of time scolding us.Let's hope that the same thing doesn't happen again in the future as I don't think it's good to get scolded every week.Though I think that the scenario would be different if Mr Chua was present.

So this lesson is all about love and it's the last day of school!Finally!A break after screwing up my 1st term....We continued out sonnet and finally manage to finish it.Then everytime Ms Maly mention the word,"kiss",the whole class would just giggle or do anything comedic....or so.We were given a brochure all about love and she went through it with us.Then,Ms Maly ask us to ask 5 boys and 5 girls about one of their quality for choosing their partner.I,of course,chose kind because a kind girl usually comes with a cute personality and would make you want to scream"kawaii!!!"or"moe.!!"But too bad those type of people only appear in anime,manga and video games.After awhile,we settled down and Ms Maly explained the 3 qualities of love in the Greeks.The lowest level is Eros,Passionate love or longing.While the mid level is Philia,Brotherhood and friendship.With the highest level,Agape,unconditional and self sacrificing affection and it's the purest form of love.Then,our assingment is to complete the rest of the worksheet.I feel that today's lesson was kinda interesting and I'm kinda annoyed though as the whole class would just giggle after hearing the word"kiss."In my opinion,love is a strange thing,as it can never be fully expressed.Whatever one may do,it is only a tiny amount of what one really feels.One of our homework was to share our favourite love song and mine is this Japanese song

But dat's da biggest problem, ya see. 'Cuz then I'll need to think of a topic of conversation! And it ain't gonna be natural fo me to do that in da first place... Ahh, that's enough! Sleep sleep sleep!!! (Yea~! Let's sleep~)
